Over-the-belt Magnet

The most important field of application for over-the-belt magnet systems is the separation of ferromagnetic particles during the transportation of raw materials on conveyor belts.

The over-the-belt magnet systems are installed above the conveyor belt for this purpose. The iron particles are attracted by the magnet and removed from the magnetic field by the cams. Upon leaving the magnetic field the iron particles fall into a collection device.

For ideal magnetisation of the ferrous parts and facilitated separation, our over-the-belt magnets are arranged transversely to the conveyor belts of the raw material. However, should an increased throughput speed of the conveyed material be the goal, our systems are arranged lengthwise. Since we process every single step internally from development to completion, there are no limits to the customers' requirements.
